Summary
We are actively recruiting for a dynamic MRO Sourcing Manager to join our Purchasing team. This person leads the management of Perdue's commercial relationship with it's MRO supply base
The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to company profitability by managing the sourcing of assigned categories on behalf of consolidated company requirements including packaging materials used in the production of foods.
- Utilize sourcing and contract management processes and technology to develop RFx events, written supply agreements and other documents as required.
- Require and maintain necessary supplier documentation (letters of food safety guarantee, quality certifications, food safety and security audit results, other as required).
- Proactively develop cost, process and sustainability improvement projects and manage associated supply risk.
- Provide analysis of applicable spend categories to contribute to supplier performance management and contract compliance.
- Achieve customer satisfaction by ensuring that quality and availability of assigned materials and services meet and exceed internal and external requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships including qualification, collaboration, negotiation and performance.
- Assist internal customers in developing their strategies, budgets and initiatives and support their achievement.
Minimum Education and Experience
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field, and 5+ years related experience in a purchasing, supply chain or material management role. Must be able to travel to facilities as needed (25%)
PREFERRED: CPM, CPSM or CPIM certification. Spend analysis, contract management, and supplier management skills.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
