To be the liaison between, sales, customers, drivers and distribution to ensure product is delivered.   Also responsible for training New Hires and ongoing training for current associates. Fill in for associates on vacation/leave when needed.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Take lead role in absence of supervisor

Train and provide leadership for CSRs

Act as SME in all aspects of customer service procedures

Provide on-going training for CSRs and fill in for absent associates as required.

Maintain required management reports including daily customer service reports

Ensure all transportation management system boards are maintain and information documented and reported appropriately. Other duties assigned by the manager or supervisor

Minimum Education

High School Graduate or GED required

PREFERRED:  Associates Degree preferred

Experience Requirements

2 – 3 Years applicable experience in customer

Expertise and knowledge of transportation systems to include TMS, trailer tracking, ELogs. 

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills

Knowledge of standard software applications

Demonstrate leadership and/or supervisory skills

Experience Preferred

Routine decisions regarding scheduled shipments, limited decisions regarding dispatch drivers to loads.  Take Lead role in absence of Supervisor and provide support.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Normal climate controlled office environment.  Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment.  Able to move freely throughout the facility
