Summary

We are actively searching for a Fleet Purchasing Manager for our Corporate Headquarters office. This person will be responsible for but not limited to sourcing and replenishment of parts and services for Fleet.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

  1. Contribute to company profitability by managing the sourcing of assigned categories for Fleet and other material or service categories as assigned on behalf of consolidated company requirements.
  2. Assist Fleet Buyers and internal customers in daily operations as needed.
  3. Proficient in Maximo, SAP and/or EAM.
  4. Proactively develop cost, process and sustainability improvement projects, manage associated supply chain risk.
  5. Select, train, develop, lead and evaluate the performance of assigned associates.
  6. Provide analysis of assigned spend categories to contribute to supplier performance management and contract compliance.
  7. Achieve customer satisfaction by ensuring that quality and availability of assigned materials and services meet or exceed internal and external requirements. 
  8. Manage supplier relationships including qualification, collaboration and performance.                          

Minimum Education

  •  Bachelors degree in areas of Business Administration or similar
  • C.P.M. / C.P.S.M. Certification

Experience Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong reading, math, writing communication skills (oral and written), analytical skills and a statistical background.

Experience Preferred

  •  SAP/EAM/Maximo Purchasing and Material Management experience

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
