Human Resources Intern - Summer 2023

Our Corporate Human Resources team will offer students hands-on, real-world HR Generalist experience within the company over an 8 - 10 week period.  Come experience an inside look in the world of Human Resources within a CPG and Agricultural organization at Perdue.

What You Will Learn & Main Responsibilities

1. Assist Corporate HR team focusing on Generalist responsibilities
2. Assist with the creation of the HR SharePoint site 
3. Review documentation to be available for facility HR and corporate HR professionals   
4. Assist with New Hire Orientation
5. Work with company Compliance COE (Center of Excellence) and help implement a new Ethics Line process across facilities
6. Other duties as assigned as work for this role will vary in scope and be closely supervised by a HR Manager/Director

Minimum Education

• Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelors degree at an accredited university in a relevant field of study. Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Public Relations majors preferred.
• Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher

Experience Requirements

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software
• Excellent time management, organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
• Posses strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
• Experience working with Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms is preferred 
• Creative ability, analytical thinking skills, a collaborative mindset
