Summary
The Inbound Ingredient Coordinator has primary responsibility to work with buyers to populate schedules, communicate, and ensure execution of inbound ingredient arrivals. Coordinator is responsible for order entry, daily audit of logistics – with internal and external logistics – to ensure accurate communication of delivery. Coordinator is responsible for truck, rail, and container supply chain tracking. Communicating deviation from plan to plants, buyer, and logistics is critical to the success of the coordinator. A primary objective is to optimize the supply chain continuity and vendor relationships to enhance the division’s profitability and operational efficiency.
The salary range for this position is $56,000.00- $83,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily management of inbound ingredients and updating to ensure accurate ingredient delivery information.
- Daily reporting of inventory levels and deviations, communicate with management and formulation to determine necessary corrective actions.
- Manage the integrity and systematic management of procurement data across platforms, ensuring flawless execution of all transactions.
- Establish and maintain record keeping that supports operational transparency and enhanced strategic decision making.
- Primary data entry of ingredient schedules as prescribed by buyers and provide feedback to buyers regarding vendor performance.
- Create quarterly performance reports to track carrier KPIs for management and communicate carrier/logistics provider information.
- Prepare ingredient samples and documentation for qualification by Technical Service.
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma OR equivalent
Experience Requirements

Understanding of standard software applications.

Strong math, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Experience Preferred
- 1-5 years of previous data entry, customer service experience in a similar industry or field.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
The environmental factors and physical requirements of this position include the following: Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment. Able to move freely throughout the facility to include climbing vertical heights (0-50’), lifting up to 50 pounds, exposure to extreme temperatures (0 - 100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity (0 - 100%), noise (50db - 100db), and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
