This position has a target wage of $21.90 - $28.13 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications. Overtime may be available.

What You Will Learn & Main Responsibilities

• Develop engaging and visually appealing content for our social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook)
• Showcase our associates, our community relations activities, our responsible farming stories, and more.
• Create and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting
• Monitor trends and suggest creative ideas to boost engagement
• Track and analyze social media metrics, providing insights for improvement
• Engage with our audience, respond to comments, and build our online community

Minimum Education

• Must be a rising senior currently pursuing a Bachelors degree at an accredited university in a relevant field of study. Social Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related majors preferred.
• Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher

Experience Requirements

• Passion for social media, digital marketing, and content creation
• Interest in the food production and agriculture  industry
• Strong storytelling and visual design skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools
• Ability to work independently and contribute creative ideas
• Real-world experience in social media marketing
• Possess strong analytical, communication and time management skills
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills

Experience Preferred

• 3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred
• Strongly prefer a rising senior who has completed at least 4 college-level communication courses

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.  May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db. may be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.  May need to climb ladders.
