Summary

The Supervisor, Talent Acquisition  will be responsible for managing and developing a team of regional recruiters, as well as hiring top talent, building and sustaining solid relationships with hiring managers, and fulfilling all talent acquisition needs by managing the full life cycle recruiting process in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.   The Supervisor, TA will manage regional recruiters 25% of the time and have direct recruiter responsibilities 75% of the time.

This position will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and the ideal candidate will be based within close proximity to Corporate headquarters  in Salisbury, MD. 

 

The salary range for this position is $63,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain an effective team of regional recruiters providing leadership, development and coaching support.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding recruitment metrics, performance management and personnel decisions.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting to support multiple lines of business and production facilities with a focus on salaried, exempt positions. 
  • Create exceptional and vigorous search strategies to identify and attract the highest caliber of talent
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Achieve measurable results that demonstrate improvement in hiring ration, i.e. applicants vs. hires, and ensure all required paperwork and documents is completed compliantly including application, references, background checks, etc.
  • Stay current on market trends, diversity recruiting, and utilizing data to perform analyses to identify current and future talent needs
  • Work across the organization with key stakeholders such as Human Resources, Compensation, and business leaders to ensure a superior client and candidate experience

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent related work experience.  Previous experience in recruiting position with responsibility for multiple locations is required. 

 

The ideal candidate must also have:

  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience supporting both field operations and corporate roles with proven results.
  • 2+ years of prior supervisor or manager experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with and knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge of laws surrounding the interview process.
  • Proven track record of innovative methods to recruit the targeted workforce and that results in turnover reduction.
  • An ability to think ahead and plan over a 1 to 3-year time span. Must be able to multi-task and organize multiple protocols and projects and complete on schedule.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and provide excellent customer service, while demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and a commitment to team performance and effective coaching.
  • Ability to travel if needed per business request.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.  May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
