Summary

Come join us at Corporate HQ for Summer 2025! Our Talent Acquisition Internship offers students hands-on, real-world experience within the company over an 10 - 12 week period.  Come experience an inside look in the world of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, CPG and Food Production.

This position has a target wage of $21.90 - $28.13 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications. Overtime may be available.

What You Will Learn & Main Responsibilities

  • Assists the talent acquisition team in proactively search for candidates through various platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, etc.) and maintains a pipeline of potential talent for current and future roles.
  • Create, manage, and update job postings on multiple platforms to maximize visibility and attract top talent.
  • Reviews resumes for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Prescreens applicants and conduct initial phone interviews.
  • Support the talent acquisition team at virtual or in-person career fairs and networking events, collaborating with schools, colleges, and community partners.
  • Participate in current special projects and provide general administrative support to the human resources and talent acquisition teams.

Minimum Education

  • Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university in a relevant field of study. Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organization Psychology, Business or related majors preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher

Experience Requirements

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate professionally and effectively, verbally and in writing, with candidates and all levels of company staff
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams across and at all levels of the organization

Experience Preferred

  • 3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task, change direction, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines with both local and remote staff
  • Professional, customer-focused attitude and a strong understanding of confidentiality

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.  May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.  May need to climb ladders.
