Summary

This is a fast-paced sales environment in which the team and the individual employee must be dead-line driven and organized in their work.  Computer literacy is essential to completion of assignments.  This person will have a set of customer accounts and will have responsibility for calling on them and ensuring that the customers receive superior customer service by showing enthusiasm in their job and by showing product knowledge. Taking accounting responsibilties which include: credits, debits and researching customer disputes.The employee will be actively involved in the Company Safety program and the long-term and short-term goals of the department

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Initiate calls to potential and existing clients to promote and sell products.
  2. Process customer orders and necessary correspondence (email, fax, telephone) and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Work with other departments to communicate and resolve customer service issues.
  4. Participate in Company and department safety program.
  5. Comply with Company Policies and Procedures.
Minimum Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements
  • 1 – 3 years related work experience, preferable in a food or natural foods arena
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
Experience Preferred
  • Spanish skills are a plus
