Summary

The Associate Sales & Marketing Operations Analyst will work across the Wholesale, Industrial, Foodservice and International teams to support and drive profitable growth across Perdue’s portfolio of products.  This role will help execute sales and marketing initiatives to maintain and build new customer relationships by analyzing data to identify trends, sales effectiveness, opportunities for growth, and developing sales and marketing materials.  The ability to be flexible, learn quickly, and adapt to new experiences will be critical as this role will work across multiple functional areas on the Commercial business to create a positive impact.

 

For the first several months, the Analyst will spend time across various phases of the business that could include areas such as our Live Operations, Agra Business, Logistics, Marketing, Sales Planning & Operations, and Field Sales. The Analyst will present key learnings and make recommendations for improvement throughout their onboarding to the WIFI leadership team ensuring a high degree of competence and business acumen.

 

The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $83,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell their company's products or services through presentations, networking, and one-on-one sales meetings. 
  • Build strong intercompany and customer relationships, which can directly impact the success of the business. 
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and sales. 
  • Creating strategies to penetrate new market segments and analyzing the target market.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve their targets. 
  • Analyze team performance and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and methods. 
  • Research potential leads, competitors and trends in the market. 
  • Collaborate with their team to craft sales plans and ensure that they are executed effectively. 
  • Creating sales and product collateral and ensuring brand guidelines are met.
  • Specialists shall stay current on industry trends. 

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field, and 0-3 years of relevant experience.  Experience in Sales and Marketing is a plus.

 

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships externally and internally across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Syndicated Data.
  • Ability to travel including air travel and occasionally requires weekend work if needed.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.  Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
