Executes and manages the Company’s National Foodservice Distribution business objectives. Effectively leads, directs, and manages the Eastern & Western Division Managers ensuring Regional Business managers and Sales Agency accomplish the channels Strategic Initiatives and business goals, i.e., volume, price spend and mix.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manages and develops customer account relationships in conjunction with segment leads to include; Corporate Accounts, Buying Groups, CMO, C & U, Healthcare and K-12.
  • Improves customer response time moving decisions closer to field. Enhances relationship and insure Broker performance and Sales execution nationally. 
  • Achieves National Foodservice Distribution business plans including volume, price, spend and mix for profitability. 
  • Establishes and provides leadership, setting priorities for the Western & Eastern Divisions on product group/category priorities.
  • Achieves national goals for: (1) New business; value added revenue (2) New product revenue; overhead budgets (3) Priority segment sales.  
  • Manages effectively trade promotions and account management through properly executed programs and financial integrity of all trade agreements and “deals”.   
  • Provides field “interface” with Sales management and Marketing, providing leadership to attain the necessary “tools for success” for the National Field Sales team.
  • Ensures and maintains an effective Sales team (Division Managers, Regional Business Managers and Sales Agencies network). 
  • Ensures that all our properly trained, coached and directed to reach Company/Division objectives.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree and 15 years of related experience.  Requires frequent travel away from home including weekends regardless of weather and in urban and rural areas, sometimes prolonged travel.
