Summary
We are recruiting for an IT Project Lead Marketing. Must be a high-energy and highly motivated self-starter who executes strategic planning and projects with urgency and a priority on continuous improvement. Flexibility and ability to multi-task is necessary. This position will maintain key relationships with respective business/customer base, vendors and all areas of IT to provide exceptional service. The candidate should have the ability to self-manage and effectively coach/manage teams and vendors to complete projects and tasks, on-time, with little supervision. Manages and coordinates all development activities for the application landscape including but not limited to business area partnership for strategic alignment of technologies/tools, requirements definition, vendor evaluation, process reengineering, design, development, documentation, release management, and production support. Will have responsibility for managing multiple projects over more than one business area. Provides input into evaluations of other associates.
The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $167,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Works with our Marketing business areas – Digital/E-Commerce, Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Consumer Insights – to fully understand functional requirements and project execution to support business needs.
- Develops/plans effective, efficient solutions which meet the requirements of the business, utilizing standard processes/documentation using demonstrated proficiencies in project management.
- Maximizes use of available technology to enhance and improve business processes.
- Defines and maintains project resource requirements and works with resource managers and executives to secure the best talent.
- Assists leadership in recruiting and developing a diverse work team to provide the best skills needed to support business and IT initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Builds effective working relationships within Application Systems, other IT areas, and the business community
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education:
BS degree or equivalent related work experience in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology or Computer Science plus 8 -10 years related work experience.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years in IT Project Management, with a focus on marketing projects. PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, and other business areas.
- Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; as well as communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in translating complex marketing needs into technical requirements and proposed solutions.
- This position requires working from our corporate office (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) in Salisbury, MD.
Experience Preferred:
- Experience with Project Management tools such as Smartsheet, Monday.com or similar.
- Experience with e-commerce systems such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Shopify. Experience with marketing-related systems such as Salsify, Circana Unfiy, Acquia Widen DAM, Acquia Drupal CMS, Klaviyo.
- Experience with marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Order to Cash (OTC) in SAP ECC or S/4 HANA, Crystal Reports, PowerBI is a plus.
- Continuous improvement poultry industry experience (including poultry technology courses) is a plus.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Possible rotating weekly on-call.
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
- Some minor overnight travel, including travel to other company sites and/or conferences to support strategic projects.
